I just saw this quote on pinterest and just had to use it! I already had the blue background done, a mix of paint and ink. The soft background and quote just called for something bold, hence the pink! Found these letter stickers in my stash and used the branch image and foil from Kaszazz. Came together really quick.

I created this journal page using dylusion inks, tcw stencil, scrap of dictionary page, stamp from dragonflybuzz on etsy, a little sewing and letter stickers from kaszazz.

You know how some pages just flow and are done like that (snap!) and others you just struggle like mad to have it come out as something you're pleased with? This page was take two. I absolutely ruined the first try and had to paint over the lot and start again. Thank god I did, because I love how it turned out! I've used patterned paper from Graphics 45, paint, dylusions ink, tcw template, washi tape, stitching and bits 'n' bobs.

Art Journal - ' Own Kind of Beautiful'

This is the first page in my new art journal and i'm loving it! I love the vibrancy of the colours.
Created using distress stains and inkpads, rubons, paint, stencils and stamps.
The bird image was from $1 wrapping paper found at the Post Office.
I've cut it out and pasted it down then used it as my guide to paint.
Big thank you to DJ Pettitt for teaching me this technique, I love it!

Art Journal - 'Explode'

'Be an Opener of Doors'

A journal book I made from scratch in a class I took with DJ Pettitt earlier this year.

'Coral'

Here I've used Enamel Accents Black & White by Ranger and pearlescent paints by Smooch and Lumiere.

Journal - 'A Fine Line'

I am LOVING this page, I don't know if it's the colours or how quickly it came together, but I love!
